STEM OPT Reporting Workshop

The ISSO provides continuing advising to alumni applying for or on STEM OPT to ensure that former students understand what they need to do over the course of the STEM OPT period. The ISSO periodically puts on two different types of STEM OPT related events:

STEM OPT Reporting Workshop: Are you on STEM OPT (or have applied and are waiting on your STEM EAD card), and want to make sure that you meet your STEM Reporting requirements 100% perfectly throughout the 24 months of STEM? If so, then join this once-a-semester virtual workshop to learn the basics of STEM OPT Reporting (validation reports, evaluations, timing, when a new I-983 is needed, what you can still report in your Portal vs. what you can’t etc.) and how to use the ISSO’s STEM OPT Employment Update & Validation Reporting Form. STEM OPT reporting is very different from reporting when on 12 month OPT, so this workshop will help attendees understand all that’s required.
